The Hogs Back is a small family-owned brewery with big plans to make our beer genuinely local and our brewing more sustainable. The brewery’s range is well known for traditional cask favourites like TEA and Surrey Nirvana Session IPA but the new kegged products Hogstar Lager, Hog IPA and Hazy Hog cider have expanded the offer to new drinkers.
The brewery is tucked away in the village of Tongham, in the heart of the old Surrey hop-growing region. Hogs Back has been brewing award-winning beers for 30 years in their 18th century farm buildings that at various times have stored wheat, and housed cattle and, appropriately, hogs.
