We’re extremely proud of what we do and are keen to share our passion for making our meticulously crafted beer. Our tour offers guests an opportunity to look behind the scenes, understand how we developed from a tiny micro-brewery behind a pub and sample the freshest possible Ossett beer.

History

Ossett Brewery was founded in 1998 and first started at the back of the Brewers Pride on Low Mill Road. Founder and Chairman Bob Lawson began the brewery following a 30 year career brewing for Joshua Tetleys, Beverley Brothers and Kelham Island.

History

Our journey towards fulfilling a long held ambition, establishing our own commercial brewery, has taken us a while to complete.

The story began in earnest during October 2011 when building and conversion work began on our flint barn and outbuildings at Church Farm, Litlington, in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
However, the real story begins at a much earlier date.

Langham Brewery

History

Langham Brewery was founded in 2005 by two good friends, James Berrow and Steve Mansley. They were joined in the venture by Lesley Foulkes, James' partner whose business background completed the skill set.

Rebellion Beer Co.

Our monthly social nights are a fantastic evening of great beer, great food and great atmosphere. The events offer a chance to come to the brewery and enjoy our full beers range as fresh as they come, served 50m of where they were brewed.

Alongside the beer we have a fully stocked Tap Yard bar with wine, cider, spirits and soft drinks.

History

The story of the Rebellion Brewery starts with two friends: Tim Coombes and Mark Gloyens. Attending school together in Marlow at a time when the old Wethered Brewery was in full production, the sweet aromas of malt were a constant reminder that Marlow was an active brewing town.

Faversham Brewery

Our award-winning guided tour takes visitors around the Faversham Brewery site to learn about the ancient art of brewing. See brewing and fermentation vessels; taste natural mineral water from the brewery’s well; try some malted barley and smell locally-grown Kentish hops.

The 80 minute tour also includes a visit to the Old Brewery Store, housed in the old wines and spirits store, which features impressive displays of historic delivery vehicles, a recreated coopers’ workshop, bygone pub signs and a collection of hop picking memorabilia.

History

Shepherd Neame is Britain's oldest brewer - and while 1698 is the Brewery's official founding date, there is clear evidence that its heritage pre-dates even this period.

Sambrook’s

Sambrook's Brewery, Wandsworth

It’s a big claim, but we believe our tours are the best in town! First off, they’re only £15 and that includes a tutored tasting and a free pint (or two halves) afterwards. They’re always run by a core member of the team and whilst we share our enthusiasm for everything from the ingredients to the brewing process, mainly they’re a fun and different way to have a few drinks with friends. History

London's oldest independent brewery (since 2008) brewing at the oldest continuous brew site in the UK (since 1533!). Come and join us at the Brewery Tap for a pint of award winning craft-beer, speciality flights, beer cocktails and pizza!

You can also take a look (and have a taste) of what goes on behind the scenes at a brewery by joining us for a Heritage Centre tour.
